TSMSS..............Let Go Let God

Have you ever searched for a certain song only to find one you have never heard before?  That's what happened to me this morning.  I went on youtube looking for a certain song and clicked on a couple of songs on the sidebar.  And this one, WOW!!!  I have never heard it before and totally different from any I usually listen to. My heart has been so heavy this week for Chris.  He left Thursday to live with his brother and sister-in-law, and possible his girlfriend.  The same girl he had been with  the weekend of the wreck.  He said himself he wasn't strong enough to go back.   But he went anyways.
I just pray what little time he was here the seed has been planted and conviction will be too strong for him to go back to the life he had before the wreck.

Now for more great music join Amy over at Signs, Miracles, and Wonders.

  2. God's peace is always with us, we just have to let him in! Prayers for Chris that he will have faith and rely on the Lord for his recovery!

  3. Letting go is the hardest thing to do.
Our 29 year old lives with us, not motivated to do anything.
Some say we need to kick him out.
It's so hard for me watching his life.
Even tho I know God can't work in his life til I let go, it's still very hard to let go.
    Bless you sister!

  4. What a wonderful song. I think that is the hardest thing to do, let go of our problems and leave them at His feet. We as mommas think we can fix Everything and we pick them back up and try again. At least I have a problem with this, working on it, but still a problem. Praying for Chris' situation my dear friend!
    until next time... nel

  5. I'm sure seeds were planted. It's hard when you so want another to know and share the Hope that is in you. But all you can do is pray and live out the life of Christ in front of them. God's Word does not return void. I loved the lyrics to this song.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

  6. What a beautiful song. I may just have to post that someday on my For Your Tears blog. Thank you so much for sharing it with me. It saddens me to hear that Chris has moved out of your home.
Praying that God has taken hold in his heart and keeps him on the right track. ((HUGS))

  7. My friend Debby told me to come and listen to this song. Amazing! I never heard this one before. Think I'll use it for worship time here.

Sorry to hear about Chris! This song must really have lifted your spirits. God is in control. He will take care of everything...

  9. Blessings Thena... Isn't God just so good? I love how we both were searching for a song for "Let Go and Let God" and both found a different one. I went to open this one and it would not allow me to hear... says error... but from the comments and the screen at least I could read the first part!

I'm sure that seeds were planted and now we'll just have to agree and pray for the Living Water to nourish! I do hope your heart is lifted by the songs today (and mine) but mostly that Jesus lightens your load and helps you carry the burden! Trust God...let go... Let God!!!

    Peace of Christ,
    Peggy

  11. the lyrics are wonderful, truly the only thing that we can do in times of crisis is to let go and let God, it's easy to say but sometimes it's hard to do:)

    blessings!

  12. Let go and Let God. That's probably the hardest thing for us humans to do isn't it? Especially when it involves somebody that we care and love about. We want so much to stop them from causing themselves pain, that it's hard to just watch them self destruct or turn a way we don't think is right for them. That's a nice song - I've also never heard it.

I am sorry to hear about Chris. Sounds like he has had some struggles in his life. Just keep praying for him.

Thanks for your sweet comments on my blog today. I also don't get out to visit as much as I would like, so I totally understand. I'm glad that you're enjoyed some of the recipes though!
