Last Sunday Night Makayla made the decision to ask Jesus into her heart. I don't think there could be a prouder moment for a parent. Then when your child asks if you will walk the aisle with them. Therefore she was baptized this morning. The pictures aren't the greatest but that's okay because it's whats in her heart that is the most important.
AMEN...Praise the LORD...and Congratulations!! You are right...there is no prouder time in a parents life than when their child accepts Christ.

That is so beautiful. I wish I had know God that well at her age.
ReplyDeleteOh what joy!!! That's the proudest moment ever for a Mommy and Daddy. Praise the Lord for touching her precious little heart at such a young age. The Heavens wouldve rejoiced so loud....May the Lord use her mightily in the days ahead. May her youth be a shining example to the people around and may He raise up an Esther in her. God bless you Makayla....you made the best decision ever Sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless her little heart with a lifetime of blessings as she grows up to live for Him.
ReplyDeleteThena,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these pictures just before the rejoicing and party began in heaven for this angels' choice to accept Jesus in her life in a very public way!

GREAT that you have pictures of the most important decision in her WHOLE LIFE!! Now get her to write on paper or you write down what she says about this...how it happened, where, any details yall can think of & save it for her! It will be something that will help her when she gets older & the devil is messing with her or she just wants to remember the most important thing in her life!
ReplyDeleteSo many times I think back when I was Saved in VBS...there are things I wish I could remember, just little things but it was a great day...and then I was baptized on my Mama's birthday.....Hug that Sister for me!! GOD IS GOOD!!
That is so great! How wonderful that you were able to share this experience with your granddaughter. Congratulations to you and to her!
