Winnings, Giveaways and more

We've all heard the saying you can't win if you don't play.  Well over the last couple of weeks or so I have won several giveaways.  So I just want to list them here and put a plug in to the blogger's  that sponsored them.  Also a couple of them has current giveaways going on, so go enter.  You may be the next winner of a wonderful prize.

First I won a $40.00 gift certificate at CVS Stores on Susan's blog.  Susan's blog is one I can go to for inspiration but also a laugh.  She's a wonderful christian woman that loves to go motorcycle riding with her husband.
 I didn't realize that it was going to be so hard to choose what I wanted to buy with it.  I knew it would be something for "me" and something I wanted and wouldn't normally buy.  So by the time I finally decided what do you know it was out of stock.  I have never owned an oval platter, so I figured with the holidays coming up, why not.  I found this one that I absolutely love.    http://www.csnstores.com/Pfaltzgraff-5065153-PFZ2034.html   Sorry it wouldn't let me save a picture of it. 

Also I have been wanting to make a  Texas chocolate sheet cake and didn't have a jelly roll pan, so I'm also getting one of these.


Then I won a family organizer on Lynn's blog over at Midday Escapades.  Lynn was one of the first blogger's I followed when I began blogging.  She helped this newbie alot.  On Sunday's she has Sunday Giveaways Escape.  So click on over and see all the giveaways listed there.             


Next was the book Broken on the Back Row by Sandi Patty.  I won it over at Kim's blog To Know Him Jesus.  She is another wonder christian blogger.  So when you have time go check her blog out I don't think you will regret it.

Last but not least over at Marina's blog I won a Wahl Color Pro Kit.  When I told my husband he said your not trying it out on me.  I told him it wouldn't be hard to use on yours.   Your getting so many bald spots, we just shave it all and get it over with.  :)  She is always having giveaways so go enter and maybe you will be the next winner.
Also some of you may remember last year I had 12 days of giveaways.  Beginning on December 1st I had at least one giveaway a day for 12 days.  Just curious if anyone is interested in me doing that again this year.  I know that's like asking a kid if they want candy.  But I loved doing it even though it was alot of work.  But I would just like ya'lls imput.

First, I want to say thank you to all who have entered my giveaways.  I hope everyone has had as much fun as I have.  They say you live and learn.  Well I have learned that entering giveaways is fun, and hosting giveaways are fun.  But I wouldn't want to do giveaways everyday.  I don't believe that is the purpose of my blog.  Because as some has said if it's not fun and becomes a burden then it's not worth it.

Set of 3 Christmas Coasters Giveaway

twiceasnicelettering  is offering one lucky winner this  "Welcome" door vinyl lettering.   I like it but I have a storm door at my front door so you wouldn't be able to see it.    I would love to one day put a phrase one on my living room wall.  If and when I ever get it painted.  I want brown or dark green, but my husband would be happy if every room was painted white.  Boring!!   LOL

Sugar Plum Cupcake Suncatcher

This cupcake is Barbra's  version of a "sugarplum." It is a chocolate cupcake created in glass--just what dessert lovers everywhere have been dreaming of because there are no calories!! Of course, you can't eat this version, either, but it would be a beautiful holiday decoration or a great addition to a cupcake collection.

Barbra's  sugarplum is 4-1/2 inches high by 3-3/4 inches wide, and has an attached hanging loop on top of the bright red cherry. The "cake" is a stripey German chocolate color with creamy pink and ivory vanilla stripes of "icing" that drips over one side. Looks good enough to eat, but you can enjoy it for a lifetime!

Embroidered T-Shirt Giveaway

Do you have a girl that would love to have this shirt?  Tina is giving one lucky winner this t-shirt.  It comes with the snowman on it in the winner's choice of size and personalization.  All of my Christmas decorations is snowmen, and I have even gotten Megan started with snowmen.  Their so non-traditional.  This t-shirt could even go through January.  So it wouldn't be a shirt that would be worn just Christmas and then put away.

My comments have dramatically declined for my giveaways and I don't know if they are too much of a hassle, or everyone is burned-out on giveaways.  I don't know how anyone could get tired of a giveaway.

Origami Christmas Ornament Giveaway (Winner's Choice)

Everyone seems to be wanting unique these days.  Something that most people don't already have.I have never seen anything like these ornaments.  They are made out of paper origami.  Look at the detail in each one. 
Origami (the Japanese art of paper folding) is used for many things. This ornament has 62 pieces of folded paper. Each piece is cut, folded, then neatly pinned on a styrofoam ball, creating a pattern on the ornament.
