Prayers Please

I won't go into a lot of detail.  But I have been having some female issues, so this morning I called the Doctor and told them something had to be done.
I'm scheduled for a  D & C tomorrow at 1:00, he says unless he sees something else that shouldn't be there, then he would stop and schedule a hysterectomy.  The words cervical and ovarian cancer did come up and hasn't been ruled out.
So please keep me in your prayers. 
Will be pretty loopy tomorrow from the pain meds but will update as soon as possible.

Prayer Requests

I was planning on doing a blogoversary post today, but have been so overwhelmed this week by the different ones that I have heard about that needs prayers.
My niece's step-dad (Dave) went to the hospital about a week ago for severe pain and they found out he has colon cancer.  They have ran more tests and it has spread to his liver, spine, pelvic bone, and tail bone and is in stage 4.  He is very young with 3 children ages 2, 4 and 8, and his step-daughter (my niece) that's 13.  This is the niece that lost her real Dad (my brother) three years ago.
But more importantly than his healing is his salvation. 
Then a friend of mine, her Mom  (Janet) went in the hospital about a week ago for pneumonia and they have found out that she has lung cancer.  They have tested her and it hasn't spread so they have her on chemo treatments.
Last but not least I just got an email from a cousin of mine and her Grandmother (Helen) is in the hospital not doing good at all.  She didn't go into any details just said that the Doctors says she's at the end.
But as we all know the Doctors doesn't have the last word.  God does and I know he can still perform miracles.
But please keep these in your prayers:  Dave, Janet, and Helen.

Prayer For Joanne

Even though I haven't posted that often lately,  I try to find time to at least read some of ya'll blogs and keep up with everyone.  There's a fellow blogger that needs our prayers.   Some of ya'll may be familiar with her blog.  She's  Joanne over at The Simple Wife.  But regardless if your one of her faithful followers or not.  If it was someone close to you, or yourself I know we would want all the prayers we could get.
She's a wife and a mother of two beautiful girls.  But on the morning of  January 12 she had a major stroke.   She is doing some better but has a long road ahead of her.  For the complete story and more recent updates please visit her blog.  The family needs our prayers and support.
The family is praying Psalms 46 over her and believing for complete healing.  In which I know God can answer our prayers.
I saw a miracle firsthand this summer when Chris recovered from his car accident and now again with Linda.  Her vision is improving everyday, and she has went this weekend from using a walker to using a cane.  Her memory is still foggy in areas but it is improving also.

Just a quick update, Linda (my mother-in-law) is still in ICU, recovering from the stroke she had last Friday after her surgery on Tuesday.  For those who may not have read it on my prayer and praise blog.  The stroke has left her blind and the Doctor said this morning that their not very hopeful of her regaining her sight.  Their major concern right now is keeping her off the respirator and her breathing on her own.  In which she has been doing that today for the last couple of hours.
Also her husband Dave who has been battling cancer and other health issues passed away last night.  So please keep us in your prayers as we tell Linda this afternoon.  Her doctor said this morning as long as her breathing stayed stable it would be okay to tell her.

I've decided to add a new blog, one just for prayer requests, and praises of the prayers answered.  You can find it here.  If at anytime you have a prayer request you would like added please let me know.  Either through a comment or e-mail.  I've moved all my prayer requests post over there so the ones here will be deleted soon.

Chris has been moved to a regular room but is still unable to talk.  They feel certain it is from the tubes being in his throat for almost three weeks.  That is throat is irritated and sore but just a matter of time before it's better.
